"What's in a name? That which we call a rose

By any other word would smell as sweet."

--From Romeo and Juliet (II, ii, 1-2)

Okay, that's what Shakespeare said. But, it seems that's not bloggers are buying after the launch of the new "MacBook Pro" laptops. The story is that Apple wants to have "Mac" in their name especially after PowerPC is no longer a part of the Mac machines. Bloggers say "Power" was being used by Apple before it started PowerPC chips in their machines. Of course, we agree (we blog too, so we are baised :P) if "Power" was being used only because they were using PowerPC chips then they should call it "IntelBook" ... eeeesh, that would be some news.

Yes, we agree MacBook Pro isn't really the most creative name out there, especially if they call the iBooks MacBook "Lite" or something. Maybe, instead of groaning we should come up with some names Apple can use next time around, what do you say?

My 2 cents - MacBook Pro Sounds more like a name of an Accounting software than a machine
