This is one great reason to be rich, because Koenigsegg CCX is not only the fastest supercar in the world going from 0 to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds, but also one of the most expensive. Carrying the price car of $722,534, fully equipped before taxes, the Koenigsegg CCX can do a staggering 254 miles per hour with 806 horses under the hood. That's close enough to Bugatti Veyron, another supercar but which comes for a whooping US $1.47 million.
The Koenigsegg CCX uses a 4.7 liter V8 mid-mounted engine mounted on a carbon fibre body and uses aircraft materials to reduce weight to about 2,600 pounds. The doors are gulf-wing and the hood and roof covering the front and rear of the CCX are moveable; so is the hard-top for those leasuriely cruises. Don't worry about being in an accident either, it's quite safe. The Koenigsegg CCX's front bumper is designed to meet the 2.5 mph US collision standard as well.
If you don't think that's value enough though, Koenigsegg is also bundling a driving lesson by world record setting driver himself Loris Bicocchi with every CCX. Ah. now we get it. Honey, where's my cheque book?

Update:
When we covered the Koenigsegg CCX with this story, a few of our readers wrote in to ask if we had a video link. Well, if you wanted proof that CCX was really fast, here is a link of BBC TopGear ace driver Stig unable to control the CCX and crashing it.
