Trojan Horse that takes your files for ransom: Pay up or poof they go!

Dubbed Ransom-A, this trojan horse is the latest entrant in the field of 'ransomware'; viruses and trojans that keep your files hostage and demand a fee for their release.

This particular strain shows explicit images and messages and later demands a $10.99 payment, failing which one file will be deleted every 30 minutes. The trojan horse program promisies to deliver the disarming code however, if the money is paid via Western Union. Eeeh..

So, guys make sure your virus scanners are updated, backups are current and be very very cautious while opening any attachments or files downloaded from unreliable sources.
