Perhaps you have heard about this already; perhaps not. But, if you like to travel with a radio without worrying about batteries or sunshine, the hand cranked Grundig FR200 is what you should be carrying. According to a few friends who already own this baby (oooh.. we are jealous), 1 minute of crank easily lasts 1 hour.

Priced at USD 40, the radio available in Metallic Blue, Metallic Red, Yellow, Metallic Bronze, Sand colors has 14 Band Tuning and receives AM, FM and 12 shortwave bands and a built-in LED flashlight. Of course, if you don't want to use any muscles, then you can also power the radio with 3AA batteries or an AC adaptor. Costs USD 40. We  want one for Christmas! You can get Grundig FR200 here!
