Need to spy on some-one, discreetly? Here's our list of the coolest and sneakiest spy cameras you can buy. The spy cameras are hidden in so covertly that it's not easy to locate or catch them. Some of the spy cameras featured here are portable and some are fixed in offices, bedrooms or any other place you need to spy on.

1. Pocket Spy Camera

The Pocket Spy Camera looks like it came straight out of a James Bond. Disguised as a Zippo-style  cigarette lighter, the high resolution digital still camera can take about 150 pictures at 640x480 resolutions or record movies with sound up to 30 secs. 2. Swann Pencam Covert Wireless Color Video Camera  

This has to be coolest spy camera that you would love to  carry around.

Disguised like an ordinary pen, the Swann Pencam spy camera conceals a color video camera inside a 'working' pen. Simply click the the top of the pen to start transmitting color video to a TV, VCR or a security monitor up to 330ft/100 m away.

The Pencam transmits on 4 different channels and has an operational time of 30 to 60 minutes on the standard battery. It's available from Amazon for $399.95 (a discount of $100 is on currently)

3. Hidden Clock Camera

At the first look, this clock looks like an ordinary digital LCD clock. But, it hides with-in itself a tiny spy video camera that's motion activated, which records full motion video whenever someone moves into it's field of view, then shuts off when activity stops.

4. Sunglasses Spy Camera

The Sunglasses spy camera is another covert spy camera that can be plugged directly into a Micro VCR or be used like a transmitter for transmitting black & white video spy shots up  to 18" away. Available from  Amazon

5. Button Camera

The classic button spy camera but in color. The button spy camera is  great for really covert sting operations and just looks like an ordinary shirt button once it's fitted.

6. AM/FM Alarm Clock Wireless SPY camera

This AM/FM Alarm clock works like a regular alarm clock for those "who don't know" but also doubles as a spy camera, which broadcasts color video 300' away over 2.4 Ghz wireless frequencies. From Amazon again.

 7. Hidden Book - Color Spy Camera

Love this. It looks like a regular book but has a hidden color spy camera, transmitter and the battery and the title is boring enough to ensure no one would pick it up :)

 8. Smoke Detector Spy Camera

The hidden spy camera Smoke detector. The smoke detector is not operational really, but the hidden survelliance camera inside the housing can take high quality  color video in minimal illuminiation.

The Smoke detectory spy camera features a 3.6 mm fixed lens capable of 2,70,000 pixels and runs on NTSC, powered by 12 volts.
