HTC, the taiwanese company popular for it's Qtek and other Windows Mobile PDAs & Smartphones has launched what could be the world's first 3G Windows Mobile Pocket PDA and Smartphone which feature tri-band UMTS 3G, GPRS, GSM, EDGE, Wi-FI, Bluetooth and mini USB port.
The 3G Windows Mobile candybar Smartphone - HTC MTeor, is based on Windows Mobile 5.0 and features 1.3 Megapixel camera, 2.2" TFT LCD screen, Micro SD memory slot and software for synchronization of e-mail, calendars and viewers for PDF, Word, Excel and Powerpoint documents.
Both of the devices are expected to be available across Europe from late July; though no indications on price have been announced. What do we think? Well, this space is really hotting up now, especially with the Fujitsu Loox 830 and Magic - the ultracool Smartphone all of which are expected to be launched around the same time. Of course, with all these features we wonder how many "minutes" batteries are going to last?
