Geochron World Clock: The Coolest World Clock in the World

We are quite sure no other World clock would look as cool as this one. Used by NASA and the Pentagon to aid in satellite tracking and troop deployment synchronization, this 15 x 26-inch full color map revolves within its frame at precisely the same speed as the earth's rotation and continuously displays  time it is throughout the world and what areas of the earth lie in daylight or darkness.

A analog dial system automatically charts the time in the world's 40 time zones on a 24-hour scale in the world map that is backlit and  a set of cam-driven mylar panels which produce an illuminated gray pattern  slowly adjusts with the seasons (and daylight savings time). A moving calendar displays the date both right and left of the international date line and also day of the week and month and the map shows the exact global location of daylight and darkness, the duration of daylight/darkness and the moment of sunrise and sunset.

Of course all that comes at a price too - US $1,695.95 to be precise, available from here . But hey, ain't this cool? even if you just want to lust at it?
