Crop circles are a passe because geeks think different! Bernd Hopfengärtner has created what could be the first real world "Hello world" greeting in Semacode for the visitors of Google Earth by mowing a semacode of 160x160 meters in a wheat field. The code consists of 18 x 18 bright and dark squares producing decoded the phrase “Hello, world!”.
Nice idea; might even work for aliens who speak semacode.
