Microsoft may have just released over 12 patches just two days back to fix security issues, but a larger bug has been found in Microsoft Excel spreadsheet program.

According the Microsoft Security Response Center, "In order for the attack to be carried out the user must open the malicious Excel document provided to them by the attacker". Microsoft is already working on a patch and has updated it's Windows Live Safety Center to detect any attempts to exploit this particular vulnerability. To Microsoft's credit, the speed at which Microsoft is handling these kind of issues now is commendable.
