Microsoft Origami : Ssh. It's a secret

"I am everywhere you are, but never in the way," reads the cryptic text of the Origami Project site, with pictures showing a mountain peak and a subway. "Who am I?...Find out 3.9.06."

If you haven't heard already, Origami is Microsoft's top secret project. And for a change this does looks quite not-so-like the vapourware that Microsoft is used to doing. Although much details are still being awaited before the official unveiling on 9th March 2006, what is known is that it's a small pocket device with a touch screen, running Windows XP (rumoured), and will offer PDA, and limited gaming functionality. Is it a ultra mobile PC? Maybe. Is it a Portable XBOX? Unlikely... but then again it's difficult to comment.

All we know is the future is looking quite bright especially with Apple now filing for a technology patent for touch screen, which could make into a new phone or even a PDA or even the new rumored touch screen iPod.
