W810i Walkman Phone from Sony Ericsson
Most of the geeks we know, didn't like the W800i much. We all loved the features, but look wasn't anything remotely geeky or cool (we were reminded of bathroom slippers with the tacky orange strips). But, we loved the K750i. So, it seems Sony Ericsson is combining both into one, the W810i - the phone with the features of W800i and the looks of K750i.
Slated to ship in March 2006, the W810i has quadband, EDGE, 2 Megapixel camera & Memory stick Pro slot. But, don't think of it as upgrade to the W800i. Infact this is more of a "lite" version, with only 20MB of memory (compared to 512 on W800) and even FM radio seems to be missing. That's depressing :(

SE W810i
I've just bought a W810i, and you maybe pleased to know that it does have an FM radio, and ships with a 512Mb memorystick duo to go with the lacking 20Mb on the phone. It's blimmin' brilliant if you ask me!
Yes, it does have an FM radio
Thanks for that update. Yes, it does have an FM radio. Some of our reports like this one are based on pre-release or industry scoops (in this case Club Sony Ericsson), and sometimes full specifications are either not known or at times specifications of a product changes (features are dropped or added) by the actual launch.
But anyhow, we are sure you will love the phone either ways - we love our K-series phones a little much ourselves. Cheers!
