The dinosaurus is coming back, this time not as a movie but as a robotic pet you can play with. Aptly called the Pleo, it's actually based on a species called the Camarasaurus from the Jurrasic period and is capable of yawning, sleeping, sneezing and displaying a varied array of emotions like anger. He might stretch his legs when he wakes up, or stomp his feet when he is hungry. Cool eh?
For the geeks, the Pleo is four-legged, 8-inch eye and is powered by a 16-bit CPU, 14 servo motors, 40 sensors and has force-feedback sensors in it's toes and a potentiometer in it's belly.

What are the Japanese thinking? Well... surely we have no idea. But, it seems they do; so here is one such idea for keeping your feet warm.
Connect the feet warmer to the USB port, slip them on and feel the heat gradually warming up (shamelessly taken from their brochure!). Costs about 3,980 Yen and will work with anything that has a USB port.

Nope, we didn't make that up. The first of it's kind, the Swiss Bit S.Beat MP3 army knife from Victorinox has a blade, nail file, scissors and a detachable 1 GB MP3 player, which plays MP3, WAV, WMA files and integrates an FM player with voice recorder.
Being detachable, you can carry just the MP3 player and leave the swiss army knife in the checked-in baggage when flying. The MP3 player works for upto 8 hours on a single charge, and the other parts like nail file and scissors work with raw human power :) Costs about 99 pounds.
