More often than once you will get a DVD disc that refuses to play on your DVD player because it's not supposed to be played to be in your country. Of course, if you have a Region Free DVD player you have nothing to worry about. But what if you don't have one? Maybe you own a Philips DVD player model 751 that doesn't.

That's where DVD Hacks comes in. DVD Hacks site has a comprehensive list of DVD players that can be easy made Region Free to play a DVD disc from any region in your DVD player, without expensive modifications of fiddling with electronics.  Check it out.

Make sure you are in "Disc" Mode

1. Press and hold the STOP button until the tray opens
2. Press 9 9 9 9 0
3. A message on the screen will pop up saying you now have Region 0
