Gone are the days of postage stamps with simple pictures on them. That's right, Netherlands has just unveiled the first set of two 'full motion movie' postage stamps that plays the winning skates of two olympic legends. Designed by Solar - a creative design agency, these stamps use lenticular technology to sandwitch 12 individual pictures on a plastic film to create the effect.

The stamps are available from the Dutch post-office for 0.39 eurocents a piece. Expect this to start a trend of  grinning presidents,  and war stories on stamps.
